Born El Salvador and raised in New York Juan Carlos recalls the inspiring personal story of Sirio Maccioni as the spark that ignited his interest in fine dining. Since then, Juan Carlos has worked for some of the most well-recognized names in New York City dining; Floor Captain at Restaurant Daniel, Assistant Service Director at Jean-Georges, Floor Captain at Betony and Assistant General Manager at ESquared Hospitality. As our newest Service Director, Juan Carlos is putting his impressive resume to work in the heart of Downtown NYC. Off the clock, Juan Carlos is an avid soccer fan that you can find cycling throughout NYC or finding a new hiking trail to conquer.
