Food & Beverage Director
Ed’s start in hospitality began as a bartender and server in the fine dining restaurants of New Brunswick, where he majored in history at Rutgers. He graduated to management and built a career opening corporate restaurants across the United States. Ed returned to his native (still calls Jersey City home) New Jersey to re-open the Ryland Inn, a Relais Chateaux property in Central Jersey.
Eight years ago he started working for Andrew Carmelini at Lafayette and Locanda Verde before joining the Crafted Hospitality team at Craftbar, followed by Riverpark. Prior to rejoining Crafted Ed was the Food and Beverage Director at the Freehand Hotel where he managed Simon & The Whale, Studio and the George Washington Bar.
